We're looking for a motivated and reliable Factory Worker to join our growing production team.
Position Summary
As a Factory Worker at BRC, you will play an important role in the production, preparation, and dispatch of steel reinforcement products. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will assist with machine operation, order picking, quality control, and loading delivery vehicles while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture steel reinforcement products to customer specifications.
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret job sheets and production schedules.
- Pick customer orders accurately.
- Prepare and load delivery vehicles.
- Assist with unloading incoming deliveries.
- Perform quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other factory staff and management.
- Report equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with stock movement and general warehouse duties.
- Support other areas of the business when required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Current Manual Driver Licence.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Desirable
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience.
- Experience operating machinery.
- Knowledge of steel reinforcement products.
- Construction industry experience.
