BHP’s mine expansion announcement presents opportunities for MPS in securing new work packages and the need for additional suitably experienced tradespeople.

We have immediate long-term vacancies for Heavy and Light Vehicle Mechanics. which will include working in our underground and surface workshops.

Skills & Qualifications

- Current Manual Driver's License
- Cert III Automotive Mechanical (Light & Heavy Vehicle)
- Air-Conditioning License- Desirable
- Welding experience- Desirable
- Auto Electrical knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining site related equipment and ancillary machinery

About the Role

- Responsible for the maintenance, servicing and general upkeep of ancillary equipment, including light Isuzu trucks, Toyota Land Cruisers, Volvo Loaders, Hitachi Earthmoving Equipment,



and a range of support machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, component changes, and repairs.
- Complete all administrative requirements associated with maintenance activities.
- Maintain high safety and compliance standards at all times.

Applicants must have their tools of trade. This is a DIDO chance on a 9/5 or 8/6 roster.
