We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista/Cafe Manager to join our agile team at 54 Benjamin, a vibrant cafe in the heart of Belconnen. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cafe operations, from managing the barista team to ensuring exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and lead the barista team, providing training and support to ensure consistently high-quality coffee and customer service
- Oversee cafe operations, including rostering, and manage all catering and function bookings.
- Develop and implement new strategies to attract new business and maintain existing customers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Skills and experience
We don't mind showing people the ropes of how we do things,
so to fit in and enjoy your time with us, you will ideally bring:
- Proven leadership experience (1-2 years) in a similar paced fast paced environment
- A willingness to learn as much as to teach
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Energetic, positive and guest focused with can-do attitude
- Passion for hospitality and love the energy that the industry brings
