Schedule: Mon to Saturday, 6am lab opens, 730pm lab closes, shifts include morning, afternoon/evening, day shift and weekend (Saturday)

About The Role

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing Specimen receipt, processing, storage and retrieval Equipment maintenance and operation Maintenance of records Assist with stock control Maintain confidentiality of customer Compliance and adherence with WDP Pathology Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance Processes.

Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent Associate/ Bachelor degree Understanding of urine drug testing to AS/NZS 4308:2023 and oral fluid testing to AS/NZS 4760:2019, including chain of custody requirements. Experience in a Pathology Laboratory, particularly within a Toxicology or Biochemistry Department A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedure An understanding/exposure to LCMS/MS based work; desirable but not required.
