As our allied health services continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our NDIS Registered multidisciplinary allied health team.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with participants, families, support networks, and service providers to develop and implement positive behaviour support strategies that enhance quality of life and reduce restrictive practices for Lime Therapy participants.

You will be supported by an experienced and cooperative Allied Health team while managing a varied caseload across children, adolescents, and adults.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct functional behaviour assessments.

- Develop high-quality Positive Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirements.

- Deliver behaviour support interventions that are evidence-based and person-centred.

- Provide coaching, training, and support to families, carers, educators, and support staff.

- Monitor participant progress and review behaviour support strategies as required.





- Collaborate with allied health professionals and external stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records.

- Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices.

About You

You are a values-led practitioner who believes in the rights, strengths, and potential of every individual and is committed to delivering positive, person-centred outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Essential Requirements

- Endorsed as 'Core' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).

- Relevant bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Human Services, Education, or a related field.

- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, with experience in completing formal assessments and developing robust Behaviour Support Plans.

- Experience working with people with disability, neurodivergent individuals, or those presenting with complex behaviours.

- Strong communication, relationship-building, and report-writing skills.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.





- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).

Desirable

- Registered as a Core, Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS framework.

- Experience working within a multidisciplinary allied health environment.

- Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
