Total Data Centre Services is a progressive company providing a total Cooling, Power and Cabling solution for Data Centres, Server Rooms and all Mission Critical Infrastructure.

The Role

Based in Perth, with regular FIFO opportunities to sites in other states, we have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprentice (1st years will also be considered for the right candidate) HVAC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. This is an immediate start position during a period of steady, ongoing growth.

In this role, you will continue developing your skills working on large data centre cooling systems and critical cooling infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, field repairs, and preventative maintenance. Our team values delivering excellent customer service while working safely, efficiently, and professionally.

What You Will Learn

During your time with us, you will build experience in areas such as:

- Project work and installations of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

- Commissioning, servicing, and diagnosing faults in CRAH/Chiller units.

- Commissioning, servicing, and diagnosing faults in DX CRAC units.

- Preparing clear and accurate service reports for customers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:





- A current refrigeration and air conditioning apprenticeship, including a restricted qualification and licence (or be progressing towards it) with a restricted electrical licence.

- Some experience working on air conditioning or refrigeration systems (especially in critical or commercial environments).

- A current Australian driver’s licence.

- Valuable communication and people skills.

- A strong commitment to workplace safety and OH&S; practices.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A Construction Induction Card (White Card).

- Willingness to obtain (or already hold) a National Police Clearance Certificate.

- A strong understanding of computers and basic operating systems.
