The Old Laundry is seeking a full-time Head Chef to join our team in North Perth.

We are a friendly little neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar open 6 days a week, with breakfast also served on the weekend. We produce daily and weekly specials utilising fresh and seasonal produce. We host regular functions and events in-house and also run a successful external catering business. What you’ll do:

* Lead the team with planning and executing seasonal menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, events and functions.

* Supervise other kitchen staff to ensure appropriate standards of food preparation and presentation are being met.





* Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations and procedures, alongside management.

What we're looking for:

* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Function and catering experience will also be looked upon favourably.

* Robust culinary skills with a passion for creating amazing food.

* Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and inventory management.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the rest of the team.
