Position summary
The Learning and Development (L&D;) Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Cultura's people capability through the coordination, administration, development, and delivery of learning programs. The role provides day-to-day support to the Learning and Development Manager by coordinating training activities, maintaining learning records and systems, developing learning content, and facilitating learning programs across the organisation.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the role supports organisational compliance, onboarding, workforce capability development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position has a robust focus on Learning Management System (LMS) administration, learning coordination, content development, reporting, and learner support, alongside the delivery of training programs.
This position will be contracted on a permanent part time basis, working 15 hours per week.
Duties
TRAINING DELIVERY AND FACILITATION
- Deliver face-to-face and virtual training sessions across Cultura’s services such as induction,cultural awareness and professional development.
- Apply adult learning principles to create inclusive, learner-centred sessions that accommodatediverse learning styles and literacy levels.
- Adjust facilitation techniques based on audience, including frontline workers, leaders, andsupport staff.
LEARNING COORDINATION AND SUPPORT
- Support the scheduling, preparation, and logistics of training sessions, including room setup,calendar invites, communication, and materials.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and feedback data in line with compliance and reportingrequirements.
- Support employees in navigating learning systems (e.g. Go1) and follow up on outstandingtraining tasks.
- Provide individual coaching or guidance for learners needing additional support to meet trainingoutcomes.
LEARNING DESIGN, CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND RESOURCE MAINTENANCE
- Develop and maintain learning content including participant workbooks, facilitatorguides, presentations, learner assessments, quick reference guides and eLearningresources.
- Create, upload and maintain online learning content within the LMS.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies when developinglearning resources.
- Review and update content regularly to ensure alignment with legislative, complianceand organisational requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and operational leaders to develop role-specificlearning programs.
- Support the development of blended learning solutions incorporating face-to-face,virtual and self-paced learning approaches.
EVALUATION AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Prepare monthly learning and compliance reports for the Learning and Development Manager.
- Analyse LMS Data,
completion rates and learner engagement metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support Annual review of mandatory learning programs and learning framework documentation.
- Distribute, collect and record post-training feedback and evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- TAE401116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in a training role.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, problem solve and anticipate student and organisational needs.
Desirable
- Proven working experience in business development or relevant role.
- Sector specific knowledge in community aged care, residential aged care and NDIS service delivery.
- Experience creating eLearning content using authoring tools;
