The role

You'll be working across maintenance, repair and renovation jobs throughout Perth metro. The bread and butter is maintenance carpentry and general building repairs, with renovation and construction projects mixed in, so the work stays wide-ranging and you keep using your full trade skill set. We're a small, tight team, so you'll work independently, take ownership of each job from start to handover, and deal professionally with homeowners, tenants and property managers along the way. Everything runs through ServiceM8, so your jobs, scopes and daily photo updates are all in the app. It takes five minutes a day and means no paperwork. At the end of each job you do a final walkthrough with the director, and you'll take pride in passing it first time.

What you bring

You have a reliable ute or van and your own hand tools. We pay a weekly vehicle allowance, so you're never out of pocket running your vehicle for work. You have solid carpentry experience across maintenance, repairs or construction. You're genuinely self-managing, meaning you can read a scope, plan your day and get it done without hand-holding. You're competent with technology, because our whole business runs on apps like ServiceM8, and everything from job details to photo reports happens on your phone.



You're presentable and professional because you'll be the face of the business on site. You have a white card, driver's licence and your own hand tools, plus a National Police Clearance or you're willing to obtain one as it's required for government housing work. Experience in maintenance, insurance or rectification work is a bonus, and if you've used ServiceM8 or similar job management apps before, even better.

What you get

Pay is $52 to $60 per hour depending on experience. There's a formal pay review at six months, in writing. Prove yourself, and you move up.
