An exciting opportunity is now open for a Truck Driver /Trades Assistant to join our Mackay team performing a variety of duties including deliveries and pickups, along with carrying out workshop/stores duties when required. The ideal candidate will be a safety conscious Heavy Ridged (HR) Truck Driver with a willingness to carrying out manual tasks in a workshop environment.

This new appointment will allow you to make your mark and help build this recent segment of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of HR Truck.
- Perform routine Inspections of Truck and Trailer.
- Maintain a customer centric courteous attitude.
- General labouring.
- Carry out manual tasks in a workshop environment.
- Assist stores staff when required.

Skills and Experience:
- HR Truck Licence (essential).
- High-risk License for Forklift.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and chain of responsibility obligations.
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently without supervision.
- Trades Assistant experience advantageous.
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
- Team player.
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol pre-employment medical.
