About the role

We are seeking an experienced Stylist to join the talented team at Crussos Hair Design in South Perth. This is a full-time or part- time position offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical expertise and passion for hair and beauty services in a energetic salon environment. As a Stylist, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional client experiences through expert hair cutting, colouring, styling and treatment services. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and building lasting relationships with our valued clientele.

What you'll be doing

- Providing a full range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, perming, and treatments tailored to individual client needs and preferences

- Consulting with clients to understand their desired outcomes, providing expert recommendations and advice on hair care and maintenance

- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and salon presentation throughout your working day

- Managing client appointments efficiently and ensuring a smooth booking experience

- Keeping up to date with current hair trends, techniques and industry developments

- Building and nurturing strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings

- Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative, positive salon atmosphere

- Maintaining detailed client records and product usage for continuity of care

- Promoting salon services and retail products to clients in a professional manner

What we're looking for

- A recognised qualification or certification in hairdressing or cosmetology from an accredited institution

- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience working as a stylist in a salon environment

- Proficiency in a wide range of styling techniques including cutting, colouring, perming and treatments

- Strong knowledge of different hair types, textures and conditions, and appropriate treatment approaches





- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele

- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results

- Punctuality, reliability and a professional approach to client care

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)

- Experience with salon management software and booking systems (advantageous)

- A passion for staying current with hair and beauty trends
