Poly WA is seeking an experienced Poly Welder / Plastic Fabricator to join our growing team.
Please note: This is a plastic fabrication and welding role (HDPE, PP, ABS, PVC and other thermoplastics) and is not a metal fabrication position.
We undertake a diverse range of projects across the mining, water, civil and industrial sectors, including custom plastic fabrication, pipe installation, maintenance and repair works, and workshop-based projects.
The successful applicant will work across our Perth workshop and metropolitan project sites, performing butt fusion, extrusion and electrofusion welding, custom fabrication, installation works, and interpreting technical drawings to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial plastic welding and fabrication
• Current Butt Fusion and Electrofusion qualifications
• Experience with extrusion welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience fabricating custom components and assemblies from plastic sheet materials
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Highly Regarded
• Experience working with a range of thermoplastics including HDPE, PP, PVC and other engineered plastics, with an understanding of their properties and applications
• Confined Space Entry ticket
• Working at Heights ticket
• Forklift Licence
• Experience in HDPE pipe installation and site works
• Experience using CAD software and interpreting or modifying CAD drawings
• Experience measuring or assisting with fabrication planning
• Dogging ticket
