New Murchison Gold Limited (ASX: NMG) is a mineral exploration and development company which holds a substantial package of tenements in the prolific Murchison goldfield near Meekatharra, Western Australia. NMG has quickly moved to production at its Crown Prince operations

The Roles

Thes are site-based roles working a 12/9 FIFO roster, ideal for those who want to be hands on in the field and directly involved in discovering new ounces and growing a gold resource.

You will work closely with the Exploration and Technical Services teams to plan and execute high-quality drilling programs, interpret geological data and generate new targets that add real value to the Company.

We are looking for individuals who are motivated, technically strong and eager to progress their career in a growing gold company.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with planning and execution of exploration programs including RC, diamond drilling and aircore

- Geological logging of drill core and chips, including sampling and QA/QC

- Geological mapping, interpretation and target generation

- Manage exploration drilling contractors and field activities

- Provide high-quality data for input into geological databases and models

- Assist with preparation of technical reports and contribute to exploration planning

- Support site safety, environmental and compliance requirements

About You





- Tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in exploration

- Some gold exploration experience is essential

- Strong core logging and geological interpretation skills

- Experience with RC, diamond core and aircore drilling programs

- Experience with Leapfrog, Micromine, QGIS or similar geological software

- Ability to work in a hands-on site setting within a close-knit technical team

- Driven, ambitious and motivated to progress your career

- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence

Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia. Candidates will be asked to complete a National Police Clearance prior to employment.
