Dripstone Children's Centre is a warm and welcoming 82-place, community-run, not-for-profit service based in the leafy northern suburbs of Brinkin. Our beautiful and inviting Centre values strong partnerships with families and the continued growth of Educators in order to ensure exceptional learning outcomes for our children.

We are run by a Volunteer Management Committee as our Approved Provider, with our team consisting of our Director/Nominated Supervisor, Assistant Director, Educational Leader, Mentors, Educators, Cooks and Cleaner. We have a trained Health and Safety Representative and have additional vacant roles such as Inclusion Support Leader and Sustainability Officer.

We are a centre that promotes being outdoors in all weather, learning with and from the environment and doing our part in caring for nature and walking lightly on the land. We embrace the Gulumoerrgin Seasonal Calendar and take cues from the land to lead our curriculum programming and planning.

We champion a strength-based approach with our team, giving all members the opportunity to hone in on their extensive knowledge, values and skills. Our families and community have an immense involvement in decision making that inspires our service to go above and beyond the traditional childcare experience.

With our holistic approach to the Early Childhood setting, we strive to create an empowered community whilst advocating for children’s rights and safety as well as their ability to enjoy their childhood unhurried.

As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning,



delivering and monitoring the effectiveness of high quality early childhood education and care programs across our 3-5 space, in accordance with the National Quality Framework.

You will be:

- Degree qualified, with a Bachelors Degree in teaching or early childhood education or ACECQA-assessed equivalent

- Registered with the Teacher Registration Board NT (TRB NT) either now or prior to 1 September 2026.

- Eligible for and/or in possession of a Northern Territory Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card), as well as First Aid and National Child Safety Training.

- Self-motivated and take initiative to implement innovative programs and ideas that improve the education and wellbeing outcomes for children at the Centre

- Passionate about education through child-led, nature‑based play

- A leader, passionate about sharing expertise and best-practice approaches to early childhood education through a nature-play pedagogy, across the Centre

- Adept at creating solid, trusting relationships with your colleagues, the children in your care and their families, and the parent management committee

- Effective in providing professional guidance to colleagues in relation to educational outcomes and requirements for the children

- Experienced in planning, delivering and documenting educational programs and activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children in the service

- Knowledgeable of the compliance requirements of your role and the Centre more broadly in accordance with the National Quality Framework

- Professional, with an understanding of the importance of maintaining the integrity of a community-owned business to ensure its continued long-term success

- Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
