The Perth ENT Centre team consists of Ear Nose Throat Specialists, nursing team, audiologists and administration staff who all work together to provide our patients with excellent care across our 2 metropolitan locations in Perth.

We are currently seeking an experienced enrolled or registered nurse to join our casual pool.
(Position not suitable for graduates)

Available shifts are between Monday to Friday to suit business needs. No weekend work.
This is an ideal position for experienced nurses only wanting to work a few days per week.

Shifts will typically be scheduled between 6:30am and 6:00pm as either a 1/2 or whole day shift (half day approx 5- 6 hours) depending on clinic needs.

Primary Nurse duties include:

- Assist in the effective running of doctor led consultation clinics

- Taking patient history, checking all pathology/image results are ready for the doctor to view

- Clinical cleaning and maintenance of the treatment room and clinical equipment

- Nurse led allergy clinics and clinical administration duties are available for suitably experienced candidates.

Secondary Nurse duties may include:

- Attending to pre and post operative calls from patients

- Assist with the triaging of referrals

- Review incoming pathology and radiology results

Apart from job specific responsibilities, all candidates must be able to demonstrate:





- A robust desire to provide a high level of service to our patients

- Experience with paediatric patients desirable

- Experience working directly with Specialists in an outpatient setting desirable

- Must be a team player with exceptional communication skills

- Demonstrate you are proactive with exceptional time management skills along with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently

- Must have a high level of competency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and computer based workflows in general as we are not a paper based practice

- Familiarity with Genie or other practice or clinical software highly desirable

- Must have a current AHPRA registration and Working With Children Permit

1. This position does not provide assistance with any surgical procedures either within the practice or in surgical lists.

2.There is no free parking available in Subiaco, however we are very close to public transport options.

3. Rates of pay for this position is set above the Nurses Award and is dependent on the experience of the successful candidate.
