About the role

As a Home Loan Specialist, you will originate and manage home loan applications from enquiry through to settlement. You’ll support customers to understand their options, guide them through the lending process and ensure every interaction is clear, respectful and focused on their needs.

You will build strong referral networks and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners including real estate agents and conveyancers to achieve positive customer outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

- Source and convert leads through phone, online and referral channels to meet performance targets

- Conduct customer discussions to understand needs, assess eligibility and gather documentation

- Prepare and submit loan applications in line with responsible lending and compliance requirements

- Clearly explain loan products, borrowing capacity and terms so customers can make informed decisions

- Manage applications through the full loan lifecycle, responding to customer enquiries along the way

- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and stakeholders

- Work closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality customer outcomes

What you’ll bring

- Experience in residential lending, including customer consultations and application preparation

- Strong understanding of lending policies and regulatory requirements

- Ability to assess credit risk and apply sound judgement





- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
