The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and significant government services to our community.
The River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project is the final 10.5-kilometre link in Adelaide’s North-South Corridor, delivering a seamless 78-kilometre motorway from Gawler to Old Noarlunga. Designed to eliminate congestion and improve travel times, this transformative infrastructure allows drivers to bypass 21 sets of traffic lights via two state-of-the-art tunnels connected by open motorway.
The Director, Technical Delivery provides critical oversight of engineering design outputs and provides support to the efficient construction, testing and commissioning activities for the T2D Project and is accountable for providing technical assurance, provision of high-level advice and decision making on the technical delivery of the T2D Project.
We are seeking leaders with a passion for helping shape and unlock South Australia’s potential and economic growth, who can work with a dynamic and committed leadership team to deliver outcomes for the State. Your extensive experience in the field of civil engineering,
exceptional communication skills and experience providing technical leadership during design and construction of complex major infrastructure projects will be pivotal in delivering outcomes for the Project.
