As we continue to strengthen our technology platforms, we are looking for a Solutions Architect and Application Development Leader to play a key role in building our future capability.

This is an prospect to lead a team, shape modern development practices, and help deliver solutions that directly support our customers and community.

About the role

Reporting to the Information Services Leader, you will lead the design, development and integration of application solutions across the organisation. You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect and business stakeholders to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable and aligned with our strategic direction.

You will also play a critical leadership role guiding and developing a team of developers, building capability, and introducing contemporary development practices that strengthen how we deliver.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead the design and delivery of application and integration solutions

- Provide technical oversight, production support and quality assurance

- Contribute to application roadmaps and architecture decisions

- Establish development standards and improve delivery practices

- Manage vendor relationships and project outputs

- Build capability within your team through coaching and mentoring

- Ensure systems align with security, compliance and organisational requirements

About you

You bring strong technical expertise and a passion for leading people and improving outcomes. You are comfortable working across both strategy and delivery, and you communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will have:

- Extensive experience in application development and integration

- Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams

- Strong knowledge of modern development frameworks and practices

- Experience with integration architecture and Azure Integration Services





- Advanced skills in programming and relational databases (ideally SQL Server)

- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement

This is a full time, hybrid role based in our Pirie Street office with access to working from home arrangements of up to 40%.
