Change and Engagement Lead | Major Healthcare ICT Transformation
- Initial 6-Month Contract (40 hours/week)
- Adelaide CBD (Onsite With Hybrid Working)
- AS08 / Competitive Hourly Rate
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Change and Engagement Lead to join a high-profile digital transformation initiative within the public healthcare sector. This role sits within a critical, multi-year program focused on renewing core technology infrastructure across the health system—including enterprise network upgrades, cloud and platform migrations, data centre exits, and Unified Communications rollout.
Working closely with transformation leaders, clinical reference groups, and technical delivery teams, you will design and execute change management strategies that drive seamless adoption across diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Delivery: Develop and execute tailored change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans aligned with organizational strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships and navigate complex change across executive leaders, senior clinicians, technical teams, and operational health staff.
- Change Readiness & Impact: Assess change impacts, design readiness methodologies, identify adoption risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Strategic Communications:
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and deliver high-level briefings and reports to project governance forums.
About You
- 5–10 years’ experience leading change and engagement initiatives within complex ICT environments (experience with healthcare or clinical systems is highly advantageous).
- Solid understanding of ICT infrastructure concepts (networks, cloud migration, data centres, unified communications).
- Proven track record of managing diverse, high-level stakeholders through complex organisational change.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting formal briefings, reports, and change artefacts.
- Strong issue resolution and risk analysis capabilities in quick-paced program environments.
