Our client is one of Queensland's largest and most complex organisations, employing a diverse workforce and delivering essential services to a rapidly growing community. As the organisation continues its transformation journey, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Manager Organisational Development to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for organisational development, capability, leadership development and workforce strategy.

Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, you will lead an established Organisational Development function and partner closely with senior leaders across the organisation to deliver practical people initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and support long-term business objectives. Leading a team of experienced specialists, you will oversee organisational development, business transformation, capability development, learning initiatives and talent pathways while influencing key organisational priorities.

Success in this role isn't about designing the most sophisticated framework - it's about understanding where the organisation is today and delivering practical, sustainable initiatives that build capability over time. Working within a complex and highly governed setting, you'll bring people on the journey, influence stakeholders at all levels and ensure programs are embedded in a way that delivers measurable business outcomes.

To be successful,



you'll bring demonstrated experience leading organisational development within a large, complex organisation together with expertise across organisational development, business transformation, capability development and strategic workforce initiatives. You'll have a proven ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and successfully deliver complex organisational change through collaboration rather than authority.

You will be recognised as a pragmatic and authentic leader with excellent relationship-building skills, strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery. Experience operating within government, utilities, infrastructure, healthcare, higher education, community services or other highly governed environments will be highly regarded.
