Our client is a well-established Australian food manufacturer specialising in the production and supply of quality food products to customers across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production environment with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.
The Role
Working as a Warehouse/ Storeperson , you will play an important role in supporting the production team by ensuring raw materials are correctly staged and finished products are efficiently stored.

- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

- Monday to Friday

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Staging raw materials ready for production
- Picking and preparing ingredients/materials for production runs
- Putting away finished goods into the appropriate chiller or freezer
- Moving stock safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and accurately
- Completing relevant warehouse documentation and inventory checks
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Following all food safety, workplace health and safety procedures
- Working closely with the production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required
Training: You will initially commence on the day shift, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday to complete your training and become fully competent in the role. Once training has been successfully completed, you will transition to the 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm afternoon shift.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson or staging role
- Ideally has experience within a food manufacturing or production environment
- Holds a current Forklift Licence
- Is comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments
- Has good attention to detail and accuracy
- Can safely handle and move stock and raw materials
- Is reliable, punctual and committed to Monday–Friday work
- Can follow procedures and work effectively as part of a team
- Understands the importance of food safety and workplace safety
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
