Bridgestone Select Flagstone is looking for a trade-qualified Automotive Technician who wants a secure, hands-on role with the opportunity to develop into a genuine leadership position.

This role would suit an experienced mechanic who enjoys working on vehicles but is also ready to take on more responsibility, support the Store Manager and help coordinate the day-to-day operation of the workshop.

No previous management experience is required. We will provide the training and support needed to help you grow into the 2IC role.

About the Role

You will continue to work hands-on as an Automotive Technician while gradually taking on additional workshop and leadership responsibilities, including:

- Carrying out servicing, maintenance,



repairs and diagnostics

- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the workshop

- Supporting and guiding other workshop team members

- Ordering and returning parts

- Preparing quotes for additional work identified during inspections

- Communicating with the Store Manager and customer service team

- Helping maintain a protected, clean and organised workshop

- Stepping into a leadership role when required

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A recognised automotive mechanical trade qualification

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

- Good communication and organisational skills

- A reliable, professional and team-focused attitude

- A genuine desire to develop into a leadership or management role

Previous supervisory experience would be welcomed but is not essential.
