About the role
FreshScreens is seeking an experienced Shower Screen Installer / Glazier to join our team on a full time permanent basis. We specialise in the supply and installation of custom shower screens, mirrors and glass products across Melbourne. This is a hands on role installing framed, semi frameless and frameless shower screens in residential and commercial properties.
This is not an entry level position. Applicants must be experienced. Do not apply if you do not have experience installing shower screens.
What you'll be doing
- Install framed, semi frameless and frameless shower screens, mirrors and glass products
- Carry out accurate site measurements
- Work from our Campbellfield warehouse, loading glass and hardware for the day's jobs
- Manage your own run and meet booked installation times
- Ensure all work meets Australian standards and glazing requirements
- Deal directly with customers on site and represent the business professionally
- Report job completion, photos and any site issues back to the office
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years experience installing shower screens
- Able to complete a full install unsupervised from measure to silicone
- Confident drilling and fixing into tile, stone and masonry without breakage
- Solid attention to detail and a high standard of finish
- Current Victorian driver's licence
- White card
- Reliable, punctual and presentable
- Good communication with customers and the office
- Ability to work alone and as part of a two person crew on frameless work
