Award winning cutting-edge Sydney Architectural practice urgently require an Architect for their residential, commercial and heritage projects.

Appropriate qualifications necessary.

Minimum 3 years local experience mainly in residential projects with commercial and heritage project experience a plus.

Design & Documentation:

- Receive and interpret briefs from clients
- Assist with masterplan proposals to the client
- Develop sketch design and design development drawings in accordance with the client's brief and budget
- 3D modelling using ArchiCAD and flythroughs
- Interpret council development plans liaise with planners and prepare documents for development applications to Council
- Execute detailed Construction documentation
- Interpret and apply the BCA and Australian standards
- Prepare CDC submissions
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers
- Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications
- Input into the issue and management of tenders




- Carry out contract administration duties on projects during construction in liaison with the director
- Check working documentation
- Prepare defect lists to be sent to the builders
- High level Proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Ability to solve problems and identify solutions in documentation when needed

All aspects of managing projects including:
- Manage the time spent on the project according to the time allocated
- In-house project co-ordination
- Being aware of budget outlines for each stage of the process

Ensure effective communication with the client and Director throughout the entire project

Work closely with contractors and all external personnel as required for project deliver
