The Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) is seeking an enthusiastic Office Assistant to join our team in-house at the AKF headquarters in Brisbane. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all phone queries and visitors to the office as well as managing and upholding general day-to-day office duties. There is a potential to upskill into different areas for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Take telephone calls from the public, media and AKF supporters, and direct to staff members appropriately and efficiently.
Greet visitors to the office in a timely and friendly manner.
Maintain the Save the Koala mini-shop, process payments, update sales spreadsheets accordingly and report back to other offsite shop staff.
Be responsible for ordering and maintaining office stock, regularly reporting updates to the Finance Manager.
Prepare board rooms for meetings and seminars as required.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of the AFK HQ kitchen.
General office duties and errands as required.

Qualifications:




Previous experience in a similar field is highly desirable, but training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
A passion for conservation and animal welfare is highly desirable but not essential.
