Riverbend Pork Group is a group of independent Australian farming families living and growing pigs in the rich agricultural regions of Queensland and Northern Recent South Wales.
We urgently require an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Lockyer Valley QLD region team leading maintenance and project build work on multiple farm sites.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Plan and complete assorted maintenance work across pork production pyramid.
Liaise with Farm Managers regarding farm maintenance requirements.
Assist with defining scope on project works.
Liaise with Production Managers on project works delivery.
Provide solutions to improve processes.
Provide supervision to Maintenance Officer/contractors.
Adhere to all site biosecurity requirements and restrictions.
Adhere to all APIQ, QA, EMP and WHS requirements.
Participate in team building and staff training activities and sessions.
Follow all other protocol associated with on-farm activities.
Skills & Experience:
Previous maintenance experience (ESSENTIAL)
Unrestricted and clean C-Class Driver Licence (minimum)
High attention to detail
Be self-motivated
Able to follow procedures
Able to work well in a team workplace.
Physically fit - labouring required and physically demanding tasks
Work to roster as agreed with Operations Manager.
