The Company

Macfarlane Generators is a long standing company celebrating 75 years in business this year. Due to a staff promotion within the company, we are looking to employ a current Field Service Coordinator to assist in the operation of the Field Service Department.

The Role

This role, based in our Field Service office in Clayton South provides field service to customers generator sets and their associated support equipment throughout Victoria with many sites deemed essential locations providing backup electrical power. Our preferred applicant will have an electrical industry background and an understanding of mechanical equipment. As our company provides essential service to many customers, this role is critical within the Field Service Department which has skilled and experienced support staff available.

Key Duties and Requirements

· Manage current customers to ensure continued customer satisfaction

· Possess a can do attitude to existing and recent customer requirements and enquiries

· Assisting in preparation of quotations and job costings

· Ensure service reports,



load tests and company documents are presented accurately

· Time management skills, organising field service technicians and programming service schedules economically.

· Cleanliness in all aspect of service work, also ensure setting policies are adhered to

· Excellent, clear written and verbal English skills are required

· Good computer skills are knowledge for quoting and service job reporting

The Field Service Department is open 7am through to 5pm, scheduled hours between these times 5 day week or as the job dictates to suit customer requirements. This is a salaried position.
