Job description
We are looking for an amazing Spa Therapist to join our team at Lan Spa, a busy 5-star luxury day spa in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The position available at present is for a casual/part-time Spa Therapist. The successful candidates must be able to work a variety of adaptable schedule, weekday evening / including Saturday and Sunday (as well as over the holiday period). The Ideal candidate must have a warm and positive attitude, presents well, and be self motivated and able to work unsupervised.
THIS JOB ROLE INCLUDES:
Meeting and greeting customers
Performing a range of services for customers including massage therapy, facial treatments, body scrubs and wraps
Thorough understanding of spa menu to perform all treatments to highest standards and ability to offer/up-sell guests different treatments
Ensure the highest levels of professionalism and attention to detail are shown with all treatments conducted
Collaborate with the rest of the Spa team to keep all work areas clean and create pleasant surroundings for guests
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent customer service & communication
Positive, enthusiastic friendly manner/attitude
Time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work alone and in a team
Must have the ability to create a positive working relationship with others
Must be formally trained in the treatments/therapies Lan Spa offers
Ability to upsell products and services to customers
You will receive on the job training with a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within the company. MUST have valid working rights in Australia and previous experience as a Spa or Massage therapist and must be located in Australia currently.
Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
