Role
This role will see you work directly with the traders on a commodities trading desk to help analyse business requirements, then design, develop, test, and deploy new solutions for this desk working with C++ and some Python. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the trading domain and wants to learn more, as you can work directly on the trading system building new enhancements for it. I am looking for someone who understands how to communicate with clients/stakeholders working in a rapid-paced workplace.

Requirements
3+ years of C++ engineering experience in a Linux setting.
Some knowledge of Python.




Excellent communication skills.
Prior experience working in an investment bank, HFT firm, hedge fund, or exchange, is highly favourable.
Knowledge of design patterns, object-orientated programming, and writing algorithms is a bonus.
