We are seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Specialist with robust expertise in implementing the Essential 8 security controls, specifically Application Control and Application Hardening across VDI settings, laptops, and Apple Mac devices. The ideal candidate will possess Level 3 (L3) technical skills, ensuring robust security posture and compliance within our end -user computing landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Application Control and Application Hardening strategies in alignment with the Essential 8 framework.
• Configure and optimize security policies for VDI platforms, Windows laptops, and macOS devices.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and provide L3 support for EUC -related incidents and escalations.
• Collaborate with security architects and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to validate security configurations and adherence to standards.
• Document processes, configurations,
and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in EUC technologies (VDI, Windows, macOS).
• Strong understanding of Essential 8 security controls, particularly:
o Application Control (whitelisting, execution restrictions)
o Application Hardening (browser and application security configurations)
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem -solving skills (L3 capability).
• Familiarity with security architecture principles and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Contemporary Desktop Administrator, VMware VCP, or relevant security certifications.
• Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Jamf).
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation for EUC environments
