Stride Engineering is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of distribution network projects for an Electrical Network Operator, covering both overhead and underground electricity networks. The role involves preparing compliant distribution designs for recent customer connections, residential subdivisions, asset relocations, and network augmentation projects. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will help deliver secure, reliable, cost-effective, and constructible engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and utility requirements.

Key responsibility
Conduct detailed designs for HV and LV distribution overhead and underground networks.
Produce construction drawings and design packages.
Design transformer installations, switchboards, pillars, and service connections.
Complete voltage drop, fault level, and cable sizing calculations.




Prepare bills of materials and technical documentation.
Apply the Electrical Operator technical standards and design manuals.

Essential requirements
Have recently completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
Be eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
Be currently residing in Australia.
Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid Australian visa that permits full-time employment in Australia.
Demonstrate robust communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Experience with MicroStation, Powerfactory and CDEGS is preferable.
