Aushotels Group is seeking an experienced Accounts/Administrative Assistant for family owned company to join our growing team in Springfield Central. You will play a key role in supporting the administration of three dynamic hospitality venues, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts and hospitality to take on a varied and challenging role.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accountancy: Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
Payroll Processing: Handle payroll for staff efficiently and accurately.
Reconciliations: Daily takings and accounts payable reconciliations, as well as other financial reconciliations as required.
Data Entry: High-volume data entry to ensure smooth financial operations.
Administration: General administrative tasks to support the team.
What You’ll Need:
Experience in Accountancy/Administration: Solid understanding of bookkeeping, accountancy, and business practices.
Payroll Experience: Demonstrated experience in processing payroll.
Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
MYOB Expertise: Extensive experience using MYOB is essential.
Hospitality Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the hospitality industry, with knowledge of gaming procedures and reconciliations highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work both individually and as part of a small, dedicated team.

Full time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (with some flexibility).
