About the Role:

As a Senior Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing and processing payroll for a agile and growing team. Currently overseeing six payrolls, including fortnightly and monthly cycles for around 250 employees, this role will expand as their headcount is expected to double in the next six months. You will also support their exciting transition to bringing payroll in-house.

What You’ll Be Doing:
End-to-End Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
Payroll Administration: Manage timesheets, leave management, current starters, terminations, and more.
System Transition: Support their transition to an in-house payroll system and help ensure a smooth migration process.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll-related issues.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Australian payroll laws, awards, and tax requirements, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare payroll reports, balance payroll ledgers, and manage ATO and superannuation payments.





Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Previous experience with Tanda and Datapay highly regarded.
Experience with migrating payroll systems and streamlining payroll processes is a bonus.
A team player with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
