A leading provider of custom spray booth solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manufacturing/Cost Accountant to join their team in Keysborough.

This newly created role is a key addition to their finance function, driven by continued business expansion. You will oversee the development of an in-house finance function and play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, financial operations, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare annual statutory accounts, ensure compliance, and present monthly management packs including Budget vs. Actual variance analysis.
Cost Accounting: Manage budgeting processes, monitor expenses, implement cost control measures, and provide accurate cost information for pricing and project-based manufacturing decisions.
Strategic Financial Planning: Develop financial models and forecasts, collaborate on business initiatives, and support strategic decision-making.
Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow forecasting,



optimize working capital, and mitigate risks.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small finance team and work with external consultants to enhance financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills:
CPA/CA qualification is essential.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with project-based manufacturing or construction.
Solid expertise in statutory and cost accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with QuickBooks or similar software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
