The payroll team is committed to ensuring nearly 2,000 employees are supported with accurate and timely payroll processes, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional care.

This is an chance for experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead the team of three. The role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure payroll operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead and mentor the payroll team, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development.
Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including fortnightly and monthly pays.
Compliance: Ensure payroll practices comply with relevant regulations, including FBT, payroll tax and superannuation.
System Management: Oversee the payroll system, ensuring it is updated, secure, and functioning efficiently.




Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including HR and Finance, to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, preferably within the healthcare industry, and will be well-versed in payroll compliance. You will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
