The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented payroll administrator to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent mathematical and administrative skills, a good understanding of payroll regulations and exceptional attention to detail.

A solutions-focused mindset and an eagerness to learn and grow with the business will be essential to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities:
End to end processing of company payrolls (fortnightly & Monthly).
Maintenance of employee records.
Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries.
Interpreting awards and contracts in relation to employee payments and entitlements.
Payroll reporting and administration.
Calculation and processing of termination payments.
End of Month statutory payments; Payroll Tax, Superannuation, etc.




Processing and calculation of pay increases and back payments.
New-starter set-up and Employee Change Form processing
End of Month statutory payments; Payroll Tax, Superannuation, etc.
Provide administrative support to the wider Human Resources team, as required.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a payroll administrator or in a similar role
Solid administrative skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
Sound knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labour legislation
Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent mathematical skills with great attention to detail
Robust organisation and time management abilities
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
