TeachMe is an upcoming Perth-based tutoring marketplace, designed to help families find suitable tutors for their children. We are currently accepting tutor applications ahead of our official app launch.
This opportunity is suited to university students, graduates, teachers and experienced tutors who want adaptable tutoring work and the freedom to choose their own availability.
What you’ll do
You will provide one-to-one tutoring to primary or secondary school students in subjects you are confident teaching. Depending on your preferences, sessions may be delivered in person, online, or both.
Tutor rates
Tutor payments range from AU$44.50 to AU$130.50 per hour, depending on the student’s year level, subject and the tutor’s approved qualification tier.
Rates are shown before tutoring opportunities are accepted. Hours are flexible and depend on tutor availability, location, selected subjects and student demand.

Requirements
Successful applicants must:
Be confident tutoring at least one primary, secondary or ATAR subject
Have strong communication and organisational skills
Be reliable, qualified and comfortable working with students and parents
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Working with Children Check where required
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is beneficial but not essential. Applications from university students with strong academic knowledge are welcome.
Engagement type
This is a self-employed, independent tutoring opportunity offered through the TeachMe marketplace. Tutors choose their availability and are not guaranteed a fixed number of students or weekly hours.
