Your new company
This national company that operates across a leading sector that adds value to the community is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a contract basis for 6-months initially however a longer term position may become available for the right candidate. This position will be based in their South Brisbane offices which are located close to public transport links and a variety of lunch time dining options.
Your new role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
Matching invoices to purchase orders
Coding of invoices
High volume processing of invoices into the accounting system
Liaising with suppliers regarding accounts
Assisting with payment runs
Assisting with supplier reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
Experience in a high-volume accounts payable position
High accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
