Jumbuck's Glen Devon merino sheep farm are looking for a casual farm hand for shearing. Glen Devon is conveniently located just outside the Adelaide Hills township of Mount Pleasant.
Shearing will begin on Monday, September 23 and run through until late October, depending on weather The successful person will be required through the week during this time.
Your duties will mostly be yard work to include drafting, drenching and moving sheep and other ad-hoc jobs as will come up during shearing.
This is a excellent chance for someone looking to get some experience with a local farm in the Adelaide Hills or someone looking for work locally on an ad-hoc basis.
Please note: accommodation is not available at the farm.
