Key Responsibilities
Capture and analyse
business requirements for BI solution design.
Develop solution
designs for BI and reporting products aligned with business needs.
Ensure data accuracy
and integrity through rigorous testing processes.
Implement and maintain
CI/CD processes to support BI and reporting product development.
Produce and maintain
high -quality internal and customer -facing documentation.
Train and support
users in transforming data into actionable insights.
Collaborate and
communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide expert input
into metric development and reporting design to monitor and improve data
quality.
Develop Power BI
reports and dashboards for the Payments team, ensuring alignment with
internal branding standards and seamless integration with Oracle
databases, Microsoft Fabric OneLake, and data warehouse–sourced data.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience
designing scalable data models and semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft
Fabric (including star schema, relationships, calculation groups, and
model optimization).
Experience working
with Fabric OneLake and similar cloud -based data platforms.
Demonstrated expertise
in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M), DAX, Tabular
Editor, AML toolkit, Power Pivot, and Power BI Service.
Robust knowledge of
SQL for data manipulation, cleansing, transformation, and validation;
experience with BigQuery is preferred.
Familiarity with data
warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modelling is
preferred.
Ability to build
insightful dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI, including
reports from non -SQL data sources (e.g., API, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
Dynamics).
Knowledge of payment
processes and systems such as SWIFT and FGPP would be a bonus
Experience documenting
data products and managing changes and service impacts.
Robust analytical,
communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
