Senior System Engineer – Brisbane, Australia
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Senior System Engineer who thrives in a quick‑paced environment. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, manage and fulfill the System and Functional Requirements throughout the entire life cycle (design and testing).
Identify and manage project interfaces among subsystems and external stakeholders according to the scope of work.
Deliver system‑engineering technical documents on time, within budget and to quality standards; execute verification activities of system integration documents according to the V&V; plan.
Propose improvements and updates to design standards in line with process and technology advancements.
Support implementation of effective technical solutions (e.g., interfaces with customer).
Perform system‑engineering studies for the project (fleet sizing calculations, operational scenario issues).
Execute system integration tests in a timely and effective manner.
Skills & Knowledge
Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or Information Technology degree or equivalent technical background.
3 to 5 years of experience in transportation system engineering.
