Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off, 12‑hour shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM)

About The Role

As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you maintain the operational integrity of critical infrastructure by performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, chillers, HVAC, BMS and CMMS.

Responsibilities
Conduct daily inspections of mechanical and engineering systems and technical equipment.
Ensure environmental conditions support a protected and productive work environment.
Respond to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs.
Collaborate with third‑party vendors to meet company‑developed processes, procedures, and applicable laws.
Notify management of subcontractor performance that does not meet Master Service Agreement criteria.
Execute planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
Monitor BMS for running and alarm conditions, addressing HVAC‑related client issues.
Perform building walkthroughs and take meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.




Address facility and plant faults and defects with effective solutions.
Complete assigned work following established processes and procedures, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Maintain maintenance records and perform routine quality checks.
Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of responsibilities.
Utilize existing procedures for straightforward problems, with limited discretionary authority.
Deliver results by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Qualifications
Valid ARC License.
Minimum Certificate III in AC & Reflex / HVAC.
3–5 years of experience in air conditioning and refrigeration (required).
Valid OH&S; cards (optional).
Additional technical training or certifications (advantageous).
Valid Driver’s License.
Familiarity with CMMS and BMS systems – nice to have.
Australian Citizenship – required for NV1 Clearance.
White Card – optional but preferred.
