We’re working with a leading retail organisation in Melbourne that is undergoing a significant digital and commerce transformation. They are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performing eCommerce solutions.
This role will sit across both business and technology teams, helping shape the architecture of a modern retail platform while ensuring integration across key systems including CRM, payments, OMS and fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud within a large retail workplace
Design scalable omnichannel commerce solutions across digital, in-store and mobile channels
Define integration architecture between Commerce Cloud, Salesforce ecosystem, ERP, OMS and payment platforms
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure architecture is deliverable, secure and scalable
Provide architectural leadership across multiple workstreams within a broader digital transformation program
Engage with senior stakeholders across technology, digital and retail operations
Key Experience
Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within large-scale retail or eCommerce environments
Solid hands‑on architecture experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
Experience designing integrated retail platforms across CRM, commerce, payments, loyalty and fulfilment
Strong understanding of API‑led architecture, microservices and cloud platforms
Experience working within complex transformation programs involving multiple vendors and delivery teams
Solid stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate architecture to both technical and business audiences
