Your Recent Role And Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join our key Federal Government programs. In this role, you will drive design and definition of the system architecture for complex systems. This is a 12 month max term contract.

Key Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid cloud architectures across public cloud and VMware-based private cloud platforms
Contribute to cloud adoption strategies including migration, modernisation, and platform roadmaps
Lead automation enablement using Ansible to standardise provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
Guide application and workload migrations from on‑premise or legacy environments with minimal disruption
Provide technical leadership, governance, and continuous improvement across cloud platforms, ensuring performance, security, and optimisation

About You And What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience designing hybrid cloud architectures and delivering solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments




Robust expertise in VMware technologies and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), including infrastructure integration and virtualisation
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, alongside knowledge of enterprise platforms including Windows, RHEL, Cisco, databases, and Microsoft stack
Ability to design secure, compliant solutions aligned to governance and regulatory requirements, with strong analytical problem‑solving skills
Tertiary qualifications in ICT (or related field) with proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Mandatory Requirements

Australian citizen and able to gain a baseline level security clearance.
