Cyber Security Lead

Title: Cyber Security Lead

Responsibilities
Lead program cyber security obligations across a complex Defence environment.
Guide and advise teams on how to meet cyber requirements across the delivery lifecycle.
Support customer approval activities, including security documentation, evidence and assurance.
Provide leadership across governance, risk and compliance activities.
Partner with program, engineering and customer stakeholders to strengthen security outcomes.
Drive continuous uplift of the program’s security posture and risk management capability.

Qualifications
Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years in cyber security, including strong experience in governance, risk and compliance.
Knowledge of cyber security standards, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Experience in a Defence workplace, including the Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework.




Solid communication skills with the ability to influence technical teams and customer stakeholders.

Requirements
Australian citizenship required.
Must hold AU‑Baseline clearance and be able to obtain and maintain AU‑NV‑2.
Some work‑from‑home flexibility; occasional travel within Australia possible.
Based in Melbourne CBD location.
