The Company

Based in Laverton North, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed electrical control power distribution equipment that supplies the defence, medical and mining sectors. Working a 9-day fortnight and monthly BBQ's or lunch provided. This is an excellent prospect to join a fantastic organisation in a up-to-date, clean, state-of-the-art facility that is committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment and continued ongoing learning and development within the company.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Control panel construction
Assembling of products according to design
Assembling and testing of switchgear and panel boards




Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
Electrical trade qualification
Strong understanding of wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
Assembling and testing of electrical products
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Ability to work unsupervised
Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled setting

Hours & rates:

Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.55pm, 9-day fortnight
Rate: $47-$49 per hour + overtime + super + discretionary annual bonus
