Field Technician
We’re on the lookout for a reliable, enthusiasticField Technician to support an exciting exploration project in the Pilbara. If you enjoy hands‑on work, remote travel, and being part of a tight‑knit field crew, this role is for you.
You’ll be working alongside experienced geologists and supporting exploration activities for Rio Tinto, contributing to a significant Australian resource project.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assist geologists and field teams with sample collection and general site support
Accurately label, log, and transport geological samples
Maintain field camp cleanliness and help manage daily logistics
Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements
Record basic field data and support mapping activities
Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures

What You’ll Bring
Forklift ticket – required
Telehandler – Required
Previous fieldwork or exploration experience – required




Robust physical fitness and comfort working outdoors for extended periods
High attention to detail and a proactive, team‑focused attitude
Valid driver’s HR licence and willingness to travel
