Overview
We are looking for Hospitality Assistants for our residential home at Oaklands Park. As a passionate and experienced Hospitality Assistant, Cleaners and Laundry assistants, you will work as a member of our large hospitality team. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of catering, cleaning and laundry services.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the catering service to meet residents’ food requirements: food preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution and serving meals.
Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
Assist with the preparation of the dining rooms.
Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines.
Maintain a high standard of cleaning of residents’ rooms and all general areas.
Adhere to infection control, manual handling and WHS procedures.
Maintain effective and open communication.
What you bring
Experience in basic food preparation preferred but not essential.
Experience in micro‑fibre cleaning preferred but not essential.
Excellent customer service approach, friendly and bubbly personality.
Effective time‑management skills and experience in a fast‑paced setting.
Basic understanding of requirements to support residents living with dementia and knowledge of aged‑care standards is highly regarded.
