Role Overview

This part‑time role for 3 days a week, based in Brisbane, supports the Client Services team within the Fixed Income division of AUSIEX. The position requires handling onboarding, data maintenance, process improvement, and client communication.

What Will You Be Doing
Completing the onboarding process for recent clients, counterparties and intermediaries, and performing AML/CTF checks and KYC due diligence.
Assisting with security and client static data maintenance and ensuring sign‑off and control around static data changes with relevant approvals.
Contributing to the development and maintenance of standard processes across the team, and coordinating seminars and training events.
Making suggestions for improving processes and efficiencies and, in cooperation with other departments, participating in ongoing and ad‑hoc projects.
Constantly liaising between the front and back office to ensure seamless transactions and client experience.
Answering client queries on the phone and via email by monitoring the team email inbox.

1‑3 years relevant experience in financial services (preferably banking) or client services.
Tertiary qualifications in finance, banking, mathematics or related degree.
Enthusiasm and a helpful attitude.
Comfort with autonomy and recent tasks.
An interest in learning new tasks and skills.
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency.
Excellent people skills, with a willingness to exceed client expectations.
