About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join the Group Finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, this role plays a key part in delivering end-to-end accounts payable services across the organisation while providing coaching, guidance and support to team members.

Salary range: $54.57 - $59.38 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff perks!

What you’ll be doing
Support the full invoice-to-pay process, including invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations and payment runs
Act as an escalation point for complex AP queries and transactional issues
Provide mentoring and day-to-day support to team members
Assist with process improvements, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain solid compliance,



controls and data integrity standards.

About you
3 to 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or financial operations.
Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes and financial controls
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience in high-volume processing environments
Experience with Dynamics 365, OCR solutions, Eftsure or similar systems will be highly regarded.
